It’s time for our eighth issue. We want to drop some tidbits of pay as you go marketing with Jellop, Pebble pre-sales, and some innovative approaches to your next product concept. So let’s get started…

1) Pay as they perform digital marketing?:

Yes, it exists, and there are a handful of agencies specialized in the Kickstarter / Indiegogo community. As a disclosure, we work with a handful of them, but we are really liking the current success that Jellop has had with Knocki and Pebble campaigns. 2) Do we really need another one…?:

Pebble is using it’s Kickstarter marketing machine to drive tremendous pre-sales of it’s latest releases. It’s no Apple launch, but it sure has crowdfunding dialed in for a product release. $8 million USD in sales in the first two days, not too shabby. >>

3) Are you ready for crowdfunding?:

We have passed along some useful links to Kickstarter and Indiegogo published guides to getting a campaign kicked off, but we still get a number of inquiries telling us they want to go live in a month without any prep work. The most-funded campaigns on Kickstarter can offer you some good insights into what makes a great campaign, but more importantly, if you use this page with the Kickstarter Community tool, you will get some awesome insights into the backer community too. Get your research on. >>
