A Structured Workshop on Bringing Balance to Your Life

For most people, success has been predefined as equating to money, power, and status. At a young age, most of us have been conditioned to think of success as the ability to acquire material wealth, thinking that this can lead to true fulfilment and happiness. Unfortunately, this concept has been proven untrue. Most middle aged professionals experience what you call a ‘midlife crisis’ where, despite being able to achieve success in their careers, are still largely unhappy with other aspects of their life. Recently a new term has been coined, ‘quarter life crisis’, where young professionals also experience a sense of inadequacy, of incompleteness and unhappiness despite their earnings, achievements and the endless possibilities that lie ahead.

Raf Adams, speaker, teacher and author of The Suited Monk, believes that all of us have two identities: the monk, which drives us to search for a sense of meaning, purpose, and happiness, and the suit, which is our social identity, and that everyone strives to find balance between the two. This ancient wisdom, this great desire to be both happy and successful, has remained constant in today’s modern world. His Suited Monk concept is based on the next generation of leadership development that is focused on self-knowledge, self-mastery and greater wisdom and compassion. His step-by-step guide, which includes The Life Journey Model ®and GAP visual model, developed both from his personal experience and from time-honored teachings, will enable you to easily identify and discover your own life path and help you identify what you need to do to find your purpose and happiness.

In this presentation, you will:

  • Learn how you can achieve  balance and happiness with your career and personal life
  • Use a unique psychological framework to help you re-evaluate your life and career
  • Create self-awareness to help you find your life purpose
  • Hear about how other people have applied the concepts in their personal lives and careers and changed it for the better
